Aim and Scope

Lumbung Pengabdian Kesehatan (JLP) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles on community service and community empowerment in the field of health. The journal aims to disseminate the results of community-based health programs, health education, assistance, training, empowerment, and applied activities that contribute to improving knowledge, attitudes, behavior, skills, and quality of life in the community.

The journal provides a platform for academics, lecturers, researchers, health professionals, students, and community service practitioners to publish the results of community engagement activities that are systematic, applicable, and beneficial for society. Articles published in this journal are expected to show clear community problems, appropriate intervention methods, measurable outcomes, and positive impact on target groups.

The scope of Lumbung Pengabdian Kesehatan includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Health promotion and disease prevention programs;
  2. Health education, counseling, and socialization for communities;
  3. Community empowerment in the health sector;
  4. Pharmacy-related community service, including rational drug use, medication counseling, self-medication, traditional medicine, and pharmaceutical care;
  5. Public health programs and community-based health interventions;
  6. Nutrition education and improvement of healthy lifestyle behavior;
  7. Maternal, child, adolescent, adult, and elderly health programs;
  8. Environmental health, sanitation, and clean and healthy living behavior;
  9. Screening, early detection, and community assistance for communicable and non-communicable diseases;
  10. Training and mentoring activities for health cadres, students, patients, families, and community groups;
  11. Development and implementation of health education media, technology, and community health innovations;
  12. Other applied community service activities that provide a tangible impact on public health.

Lumbung Pengabdian Kesehatan accepts manuscripts in the form of community service articles that present real activities, implementation methods, results, discussion, and evaluation of outcomes. The journal prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate novelty in intervention strategies, relevance to community health needs, sustainability of programs, and measurable benefits for the target community.
